Hair should be at least 1/4" long for best results. Please tell your technician if you have used Retin-A, Accutane, photo-sensitizing medications, laser peels, or had plastic surgery in the past three months. In most cases, waxing cannot be performed during your monthly cycle.

How long does my hair need to be for waxing?
Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long for the wax to grip properly. If your hair is shorter, the wax may not remove it cleanly. If it’s much longer, your technician may trim it before waxing for a more comfortable experience.
How much does a Brazilian wax cost at Sam Wanna?
Our Brazilian wax starts at $85. A standard bikini wax is $55. We also offer a full menu of body waxing — from a $20 lip wax to a $105 full leg. Pricing may vary based on hair density and area size.
What should I avoid before waxing?
Please tell your technician if you are currently using or have used any of the following in the past three months: Retin-A, Accutane, photo-sensitizing medications, laser peels, or plastic surgery. These can make skin more sensitive and may affect whether waxing is safe for you.
Can I get waxed during my period?
In most cases, waxing cannot be performed for women during their monthly cycle as the skin is more sensitive and the experience may be more uncomfortable. We recommend scheduling waxing appointments outside of this window.
How long does waxing last?
Most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for 3 to 6 weeks depending on the area and your individual hair growth cycle. Regular waxing on a 4-6 week schedule often leads to finer regrowth over time.
